Who can prefer the Information Management program?
In order to register in this program, students must have took the 2006 ÖSYS exam, got at least 160 for EA score and chose this department in the forms given to them by OSYM. Top 500 students of the EA score ordering will be accepted to the program.

What courses are included in the Information Management curriculum?
There are two types of courses in the Information Management program: theoretical and practical courses. Click here to learn about theoretical and practical courses, and click here to see all courses and information about them.
What course materials will be sent to the students for the Information Management Program?
Course books, application CDROMs, instructional material packages that are composed of licensed software will be sent to every registered student. The user-name and password of the students that will be used by the student to access services of the program will also be available in the package. You can see the Method section to receive information about the materials.
What title do graduates of the Information management Program receive?
The information management program aims to prepare intermediate level personnel having advanced level of computer literacy and who are called information workers. Most of the work of the information workers is composed of creating information, accessing information, transforming information, transmitting and storing information. What is the certificate of ECDL?
European Computer Driving License is a world-wide known certificate program confirming personal computer use ability taking into consideration the same standards throughout the world.
How should students study?
Read the General Study Regulation for All Courses in the Method section to receive guidance for how to study the courses.

Who will get my assignments?
Assignments for each course will be sent to the academic facilitator of that course whose name will be stated in your group. See the Students page under the Communication heading to see the lists of the student groups.
How can I learn the academic facilitators of the courses?
You can use the Academic Facilitators link under the Communication heading to learn the Academic Facilitators of the courses.
How can we use the Academic Facilitation services?
Everyday except for Saturday and Sunday the academic facilitators are available in chat rooms between 9:00-13:00h and 14:00-18:00h. Students will send their assignments only to the facilitator who is responsible for their groups.
What should I do to enter to the Academic Facilitation Room?
Between 09:00-18:00 in work days click the Facilitation link of the related course in the Courses section and then click the Academic Facilitation Courses link. Read the guide to get information about how to enter the Academic Facilitation link.
Which support service should I use first?
We suggest our students to give priority to the Audio-Visual chat rooms. They can use chat software such as MIRC and Microsoft Chat to connect to the Information Management chat rooms. In addition, you can get support by adding destek@bilgi.aof.edu.tr person to your MSN Messenger session that you have opened using your ‘bilgi’ account. You can inform your technical problems every hour a day by sending e-mail to destek@bilgi.aof.edu.tr.
How can I access to the Information Management Program forums?
You can enter the forum of a course using the Forum links in the course lists in the Courses page.
How can I use the audio-visual support service of the Information Management Program?
You can use the Audio and Visual Chat channel to use the Information Management Program Audio-Visual support services.
What is the aim of the Information Management Program Course Break site?
The aim of the Course Break site has been prepared so that students of the Information Management Program can communicate with each other and talk about courses or other things. You can use the Course Break link to connect to the Course Break site. This service is not available for a short time, but students will be informed when it becomes active.
Could I get information about the teams created in the 2. year in the Information Management Program?
Teams are created among the 2. year students randomly. These teams will do together all the assignments that will be given in the 2. year. A leader determined by the team will assign the tasks to the team members. Then s/he will combine all these tasks when the team members submit their work to him/her. Then the team leader will prepare a report for this assignment and send the assignment and the report to the academic facilitator. Each team member sends the part s/he prepared and the final comprehensive assignment combined by the team leader to his/her facilitator.
