The General and Support mail addresses, chat rooms, audio-visual support service, and MSN messenger are used in order to offer support service about technical problems such as software installation, connection settings, virus cleaning to the Information Management programs students. This service is available between 8.00-23.00 everyday including week-ends. You can use the Support service to get support about courses and technical issues. Getting Support Through Audio-Visual Chat Students of the Information Management Program can use the Live Support page for real time, audio-visual, and text based communication among themselves, with the supporter or academic facilitators for general or academic issues. http://destek.bilgi.anadolu.edu.tr must be used for the General Chat Room, Support Chat Room and Visitor Notebook.
When students cannot perform real-time use of the support service, they can use the Visitor Notebook in order to access the audio-visual and text-based information transferred to the page by the supporter, academic facilitator or students. Getting Support Using the MSN Messenger Students of the Information Management Program can use the support service by adding the destek@bilgi.aof.edu.tr address to the MSN Messenger person list. Students must use their bilgi.anadolu.edu.tr address to sign in MSN Messenger and add the address of the supporter. To do this, first the MSN Messenger is logged in, and then the related command for adding a person is chosen in the Add Person menu. Click the Forward button after choosing the "Create a new person from the e-mail address" option in the Add Person communication box. Write destek@bilgi.aof.edu.tr into the box in the person address and click on the Forward button. Click the Forward button in the window stating that person adding process is successful. The last appearing screen states that person adding process has finished. You can finish the process by clicking the End button. In addition, the Supporter can also add you to his/her person list. In this case, a communication box will appear on the screen stating that the supporter has added you into his/her person list. Approve this clicking OK. Add the support person to the messenger person list in which you signed using your bilgi.anadolu.edu.tr address. Using yahoo, Hotmail, etc. accounts will not be valid.
